Actualité

This dual accreditation provides graduates with exceptional academic and professional recognition, both within Morocco and on the international stage.

Rabat - Students at the Arts et Métiers campus in Rabat, Morocco, can now earn dual engineering degrees, following a significant decision by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

The prestigious Programme Grande Ecole (PGE), offered by Arts et Métiers in France, has been officially approved for award at the Rabat campus. This marks the first time a French public engineering school has achieved such international accreditation.

The decision follows the recommendations of a successful audit conducted in January 2024.

Graduates of the Rabat PGE program will receive two distinct degrees: an Engineering Degree and the Arts et Métiers ParisTech diploma.

The Arts et Métiers campus in Rabat itself is a product of a collaborative effort between the Moroccan government and Arts et Métiers in France.

Established in September 2023, the campus was envisioned as a hub for fostering young talent and driving research and innovation initiatives.

The institution offers a diverse range of programs, including the PGE, a Bachelor of Technologies for the Industry of the Future, and a professional bachelor's degree. All programs are offered on the prestigious campus of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat (UM6P).

This dual accreditation provides graduates with exceptional academic and professional recognition, both within Morocco and on the international stage.

The move highlights the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Commerce commitment to fostering the country’s industrial development by offering an educational program that meets the innovation and performance requirements of the sector.

Meanwhile, this decision aligns perfectly with Arts et Métiers' strategy of expanding its reach and training more future engineers prepared to address the demands of a sustainable future industry.

Arts et Métiers is a renowned international French engineering school specializing in the training of generalist engineers and technological research serving the industry.

With its eight campuses and three research institutes in France, Arts et Métiers is committed to training engineers ready to meet the challenges of the industry of the future.

The Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI) is responsible for evaluating engineering programs in France, developing the quality of training, and promoting the engineering title and profession both domestically and internationally.
